At PAIN Exhibit, our mission is to educate healthcare providers and the public about chronic pain through art and to give a voice to the many who suffer in silence through our on-line exhibit. Therefore, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of how your personal information is used and shared on the Site and does not govern the practices of third parties that PAIN Exhibit does not own or control.

By visiting this Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy as they may be amended from time to time. As We update and expand our projects through the Site, this Privacy Policy may change, so check back to this page from time to time. At PAIN Exhibit, we only collect personal information that is relevant to enabling us to provide a customized and efficient user experience. A. Art Submission.

Before submission of any artwork to PAIN Exhibit, you must complete an Art Submission form. As part of the Art Submission form, you will be prompted to provide certain personal information, including but not limited to your name, addresses, phone number and email address. In addition, you may also be asked to provide your country of residence and your age, so we can comply with applicable laws and regulations. These kinds of personal information are used for review and evaluation of the artwork(s) submitted, to communicate with you on acceptance of your artwork(s) and execution of necessary license, and for internal marketing purposes. If we encounter a problem when processing your submission, we will use the personal information to contact you.

Automatic information is also provided to us when you visit the Site. This information includes “user Site interactions” that comprise preferences, selections, and keyword searches and “traffic data” recorded on server logs from your browser that comprises your IP address, cookie information, number of page views, and the page you requested. We use this automatically recorded information to help diagnose problems with its servers, analyze trends, administer the Site, and formulate personalized recommendations and browsing experiences for you. Please note that many software and browser companies enable you to browse anonymously although you will forfeit receiving a personalized user experience if you choose to utilize them.

B. Email Addresses.

Some areas of the Site allow you to enter your email address for purposes including, but not limited to making a donation, submission of artwork(s), registering for our newsletter and/or ability to make comments on the content of our Site. We will never shares your email address to a third party without your explicit permission.

Like most other websites, We use cookie technology throughout this Site. Cookies are small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your system for record keeping purposes. We do not sell or rent information about our viewers and all information provided to Us remains absolutely confidential, except that:

We will use your personal information to communicate with you by sending you a confirmation email when you make a donation on our site.

PAIN Exhibit reserves the right to release personal information when we believe in good faith that the release is necessary to comply with law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property, or safety of PAIN Exhibit, our artist, our users, employees, and others.

While We will take reasonable precautions to protect the security and integrity of your personal information provided to our Site, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, We cannot guarantee that information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers. Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information and cannot assume liability for improper access to it. With that in mind, We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.

Your credit card information is never used except charges for orders placed on our Site. For your own safety, please don’t ever use email to send us your credit card information!

We never display your full credit card number once it has been entered. We will only reveal the last four digits of your credit card for verification purposes.

For additional security, we do not store your credit card number after processing your payment.

In addition, while using our Site, you will have the opportunity to post reviews, comments or other personal information in the public forums available on our Site. When you post such information, it is made public and therefore such disclosure is not subject to this privacy policy. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our Site is a general audience site, and not intended for use by children under the age of 13. While individuals under the age of 13 may utilize the Site, they may do so only with the involvement, supervision, and approval of a parent or legal guardian, and subject to our Terms of Use. No one under age 13 is allowed to provide any personally identifiable information. We are committed to protecting children’s privacy on the Internet and we comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Please note that electronic payment processing for your donations is provided by the third-party payment-processing provider, such as WePay.com or any other 3rd party We may use.
