This photo was part of a chronic pain 21 day photo challenge. The prompt for the day was My Body. The photo depicts the invisibility of chronic pain. People don't see the scars from the battlefield, the darkness of gripping debilitating piercing pain that the shadows from my hands depict. My stance and ball of light in the mirror represents strength, power and hope.
