Due to a non-lethal kind of bone cancer I am riddled with degenerative diseases and live in constant pain. The main thing I focus on is creating a life with quality. I consider my pain as a partner in an arranged marriage, where you have to forge a good life out of an inevitable situation. As a painter of abstract landscapes, I recently started painting this inner landscape of mine as well.

My painabstracts evoke a diseased inner landscape, but also my constant endeavour to live in harmony with my pain, which shows in the balance of the composition. Painting, I transcend the body, colour and shape absorbing me totally.
