This is the mental reality of pain. Every day, I gather each particle of it and force it from my body, from my mind. Some of it seems to only bounce around my bubble, never penetrating the membrane of pain, only taunting me by seeping back inside my body. But some manage to loose themselves from the inertia within, finding me a moment of peace.
